A little more about me

Hi, I’m Angie and I’m a small business expert who works to support small independent businesses. 

I started my professional career working as Senior Branch Manager for the largest independent estate agent in the South West of England.  After 15 years I decided to leave to combine my passion for interiors and selling property and set up my own home staging business.  This is where I learned more about business than anywhere else.  Why?  Because I got it all wrong.  Even though I had the knowledge and skills, I quite simply hadn’t done my research correctly.  All my work was based north of London which took me away from my family.  There wasn’t a demand in rural North Devon, or at least, not enough to sustain a business.

I needed to earn a living and returned to the corporate world to work for the UK’s largest online business directory as Operations Director where I helped streamline the company and improve productivity.

From here, I got qualified and joined a local Business Enterprise Agency, North Devon+ as a Business Advisor.  I adored my work but hated the confines of the business.  I hated timesheets, tick boxes and inflexible management.  I knew I could do better on my own.  Hence, I set up my own consultancy.

With 30+ years of experience in sales, marketing, customer service, and communication and working with literally hundreds of businesses over the years in all types of industries, there is no textbook ‘make it up as you go along’ humdrum when you work with me.

When I’m not working you are likely to find me indulging in my passions of shoes, shopping, and champagne or planning my next holiday.  On quieter days, I will be either out walking along the river or snuggled up on the sofa with my beloved furry friend, Molly the Labrador.
